Synopsis

When, one evening, Kim Suho finishes reading the book “Knight of Blood and Iron” in his tiny student flat and falls asleep immediately afterwards, he has no idea what is in store for him: he wakes up as one of the characters in the story. The shock is limited, as Suho is familiar with this from various web novels, though he would not necessarily have expected to wake up freezing and with a sore jaw in the middle of nowhere. Suho soon realises whose body he is in: rowdy and problem case Lloyd Frontera, the local baron’s son. His behaviour is disastrous, and his reputation accordingly, as, last night, he vandalised the local pub drunk as a skunk. His family does not know what to do with their son, and thus, it is mainly up to the future knight Javier to protect his employer’s son … or the inhabitants from him. Suho, or rather Lloyd, has bigger worries because he knows the outcome: his parents are swindled, become impoverished and take their own lives, whereas he indulges in endless drunkenness and soon passes away. In his distress, Lloyd has the saving idea: because of his civil engineering studies, he can build the most amazing things for the inhabitants of this medieval-looking world and, of course, sell them, starting with a seemingly “magical” house for the pub owner and his sick mother. But a long road awaits Lloyd because, after all, he must first overcome the immense mistrust of his potential customers. Can the young nobleman get his business rolling and avert the impending ruin of his family?
