Synopsis

Nana Komatsu, who grew up in a remote small town, has always dreamed of great love, but her previous choice of men, mostly adults such as her art teacher, has ensured that her love life in high school, while not monotonous, has been far from satisfactory. When she meets the attritional Shouji, something could come of it, but fate has other plans because while her best friend Junko and Shouji go to Tokyo to study, she has to stay behind and earn money first because of her failed entrance exam. Two years later, Shouji is still in her heart, even though they have lived apart for so long. With her savings, Nana sets off to find happiness in Tokyo, and during the train journey, she has a fateful encounter with the musician Nana Osaki. The seemingly self-confident woman is a singer who went through a breakup with her boyfriend Ren a while ago and now wants to pursue a music career in Tokyo after her band, Black Stones, broke up. Although the two are quasi-fundamentally different, they get along well; when fate brings them together again while looking for a flat, they decide to move in together. Despite their different natures and goals, the two become close friends who significantly influence each other and their environment.
