Synopsis

Akane Kinoshita’s now ex-boyfriend has cheated on her with a woman he met in the game he and Akane started as a couple’s activity. She actually didn’t want to enter the game again out of frustration and sadness but decided to play one last time anyway because she was not quite over her boyfriend yet. By chance, she meets her guild member Akito Yamada in-game and starts talking to him. Due to his abrupt style of speaking, however, this conversation soon comes to an end … Only a short time later, the two meet again, but this time in real life: The two visit a nearby game event where rare in-game items are offered as rewards. When Akito helps Akane out of a jam, she realises that Akito is not really unfriendly and gruff. Intrigued by Akito, Akane logs into the game more and more often and decides to attend the guild members’ meetings. As time goes by, the two become closer and closer … Will Akane manage to conquer Akito’s heart, or is he himself her “final opponent” in the game for his love?
