Synopsis

Eikichi Onizuka is 22 years old and a delinquent through and through. What he wants, he takes, it just doesn’t work out with women. His job search is just as bad because, so far, his criminal record has scared off every potential employer. The fact that Eikichi is relentlessly honest and doesn’t care what others think about his appearance doesn’t make it any easier. When, one day, he meets a beautiful high school student, he courts her on the spot. But a little later, he is horrified to discover that his target is already in firm hands – and those of her much older teacher! Instead of resigning in confusion, Eikichi comes up with a plan: to land himself an attractive high school student, he also wants to become a teacher – the greatest of all time! During his traineeship, however, he realises that his plan will not be easy. Some students, such as Nanako Mizuki, are shrewd and do not hesitate to take advantage of the unsuspecting prospective teacher. But Eikichi is not like the others and solves problems in his way. This is also the case at Holy Forest Academy, whose reputation as a prestigious public school is deceptive, as it is, in fact, a hotbed of moral decay. Eikichi becomes the teacher of the notorious Class 3-4 and, from then on, has to deal with several difficult students whose problems form a broad spectrum, including suicide attempts. But Eikichi is not only relentless, as he has his heart in the right place and never gives up – neither his class nor his dream.
