Synopsis

Primary school student Punpun still has a lot to learn – be it the dull school life, the first love combined with first sexual feelings, or how his family situation suddenly changes completely from one day to the next due to a conflict. Punpun accepts every single one of those developments and considers them experiences that bring him a little closer to adulthood. In this way, he is not that different from his other classmates, who have also accepted him into their midst, even though Punpun’s appearance is that of a caricature bird.
